Haiti Disaster Relief

As you all know the citizens of Haiti, our fellow human citizens of Earth are suffering from the devastating aftereffects of a massive earthquake. CARE is a leading humanitarian organization fighting global poverty. CARE plans to start food distributions using stocks of high-protein biscuits from CARE warehouses in Haiti. CARE has 133 staff who are on the ground coordinating with U.N. agencies and other aid organizations to gather more detailed information about the damage and will rapidly scale up response based on those assessments.

We can all help: Together with our members RockyBid will be doing what we can to help the situation in Haiti. As of Monday, January 18, 2010 and thru Sunday, January 24, 2010 RockyBid will donate a portion of each bid package purchased to CARE to support disaster relief efforts in Haiti. The amount donated will vary from $1 to $10 depending on which bid package is purchased. As you enjoy battling over your favorite RockyBid auctions you can take pride in helping your fellow man.
